Where do I even begin? I'm still trying to find the words for the whirlwind of a year that 2021 was. When I started thinking about sitting down to wrap up this year, my mind immediately went into overdrive.
Let's break it down..

9 couples and engagements
16 families
2 maternity sessions
3 lifestyle sessions
6 professional/corporate headshot sessions
7 commercial shoots
1 magazine feature (all thanks to my amazing client Big Rich's Hot Sauce)
Endless amounts of behind the scenes photos and videos
1,000+ cups of coffee
4 different states
We had a year chock full of the most insanely beautiful weddings. I mean it. From the rustic barns of Maine to the docks of Rhode Island coast, and of course everything in between.. we finally got to celebrate all of our couples. I could not have been happier that they got to say "I do" and dance the night away with their family and friends. I can't even begin to explain what it felt like to be back on a dance floor again. To see the joy on people's faces.. priceless.
And how about our #CapturedCouples?! We got to meet a few our new couples for their engagement sessions too. How truly lucky are we to get a jump start on getting to know them and getting them in front of our camera? Whether you're a future couple of ours, or just booked for the engagement/couples session, thanks for hanging out! We LOVE photographing love. It's as simple as that.
And our wonderful families ♥️We always love to make time to capture the sweet moments of growing families, year after year. It's so special to see all of the families that come back again and again. From summer sunset sessions on the beach to chilly days on the Christmas Tree Farm, its always a blast to chase the kids around and catch all the giggles.
We love ALL of our clients.. corporate photography, social media consulting, graphic design.. the list goes on. Because we wouldn't exist without you.
Of course, I can't wrap up the year without saying a HUGE thank you to my sidekick and right hand gal Kristin. Photographing a majority of the weddings with me this year, she's also a huge part of the talent behind the captured galleries and wedding day operations. I'm beyond thankful for her. And to Katie, I'm so excited to have you and Kristin be my second photographers for 2022 and beyond. You two were, no doubt, my sounding board this past year. I don't think I would have survived without our group text message and both of your advice. Thank you ladies 🥰
We are truly blessed to have the privilege of photographing all of life's milestones with you - and feel so honored that you choose us to tag along on those big moments. I am SO excited to see what 2022 has in store for all of our couples, families, and for us too!
