Woodsy Maine Wedding with the Kaedings, August 2021

Oh how truly special this wedding was. Where do I even begin?! These two have been in front of my camera quite a few times - they were naturals. Their love just shines, and it makes my job SO so easy.

I think it also helps that I've known them both for quite a while. Kimmy and I grew up together! We spent every summer going to "our favorite place" - camping with our families and making the best memories. Honestly some of my favorite childhood memories include Kim. And Ian and I went to high school together! So when these two got engaged and asked me to be their photographer I was beyond thrilled! Watching Kim say her vows and marry such a good man, and someone I knew was so good to her was such an honor. I was so happy to capture it all.

Now one of my favorite parts of the day? The first look, hands down. Seeing the way Ian looks at Kim is something I will never forget, and that's why I know Kim is marrying such a good man. Ian is so crazy about Kim. They are so in love, and watching that first look just solidified that for me. He also just kept saying "his eyes were leaking" which is so cute to me.

The entire day was just so perfectly planned - from the timeline, to the venue and decor. Kim you did such a perfect job choosing everything. What an incredible day.

To Kim and Ian - thank you thank you thank you. I've said it before but I will continue to say it. I am so so happy you chose us to capture your day. It was beyond perfect and I can't wait to share more with you both. You two are some of my favorites to photograph, mean it.
