Third Birthday Portraits with sweet Savannah - October 2020

I’ve known little Savannah since she was born. It makes my heart so happy to watch her grow up into the adorable little girl she is today. Her personality has grown so much - she’s so curious and has become much less shy. She’s truly coming out of her shell!

This year Ryan reached out and asked me to take some photos for Savannah’s birthday. Of course, I obliged! I couldn’t wait to see them both and to photograph Savannah again.

I brought along a few props to help Savannah feel more comfortable (pumpkins of course!) and we made our way along the path at Harold Parker State Park. It didn’t take long before Savannah was having fun and smiling for me.

Photographers (or moms and dads!): give a kid some leaves to throw in the air and they’ll be thrilled to do it over and over - and of course it makes for great photos. I’ve also found that if you give them a camera to “take photos”, whether it works or not, they love to mimic what you’re doing.

Savannah and I had so much fun during this session and I think the photos truly reflect her fun-loving, curious personality.

Ryan, your daughter is as sweet as can be. I’m so glad I got to see her and photograph her again. Thinking back to the first session and now, ahh I can't even believe how fast time flies. Thank you so much for having me capture these moments!! I can’t wait to see you both again.

Until next time, live creatively friends!
